1,000,000 reasons why Carl Edwards loves Charlotte Motor Speedway… #99 Carl Edwards won the Sprint All-Star race at Charlotte Motor Speedway holding off #18 Kyle Busch, winning over $1 million. It is Carl Edward's 1st All-Star race win and Roush Fenway Racing's 5th win. #18 Kyle Busch finished second followed by #00 David Reutimann, #14 Tony Stewart, #16 Greg Biffle, #17 Matt Kenseth, #11 Denny Hamlin, #6 David Ragan (who won the Sprint Showdown), #29 Kevin Harvick, and #39 Ryan Newman. Greg Biffle won the first segment of the race, but Carl Edwards won the final 3. The final 10 lap segment went green the whole way. There were 5 cautions for 6 laps and 8 lead changes among 4 leaders.
 












 
 
A Nationwide regular wins at IowaSpeedway!!!  #6 Ricky Stenhousr, Jr. won the John Deere Dealers 250 at Iowa Speedway for his first Nationwide Series win in his 51st race. He is the first Nationwide Series regular to win a race since Justin Allgaier won last year at Bristol Motor Speedway in March. #60 Carl Edwards finished second, followed by #22 Brad Keselowski, #32 Reed Sorenson, #2 Elliott Sadler, #09 Kenny Wallace (making his 500th Nationwide start), #18 Michael McDowell, #31 Justin Allgaier, #30 James Buescher, and #33 Austin Dillon. There were 5 cautions for 28 laps and 17 lead changes among 7 leaders.
 
 


 
Kyle Busck makes it look easy in the Camping World Truck Series! With just seven laps remaining, #18 Kyle Busch took over the lead from #2 Clint Bowyer and was able to hold onto the lead to win the “North Carolina Education Lottery 200” at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This was Busch's 4th win this season and his 28th series overall. Clint Bowyer finished second. Rounding out the top were; #60 Cole Whitt, #31 James Buescher, #33 Ron Hornaday Jr., #13 Johnny Sauter, #3 Austin Dillon, #29 Parker Kligerman, #66 Justin Marks, #32 Brad Sweet. In his first NASCAR start, #15 Kimi Raikkonen managed to bring it home with a 15th place finish. There were 10 lead changes among 7 drivers, and a record-tying 10 cautions for 47 laps.
 

The Sprint Cup Series takes on Charlotte Motor Speedway for their longest race of the season…”The Coca Cola 600”, Sunday night at
6pm on FOX. Look for strong runs from the Ford camp and Joe Gibbs teams to be strong as well. Never forget that Jimmie Johnson claims Charlotte to be his track too.
 
Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm on ABC the Nationwide Series races Charlotte Motor Speedway for the “Top Gear 300”.
 




The Camping World Truck Series races returns June 4th at Kansas Speedway for the “O’Reilly Auto Parts 250” at
2pm on SPEED.
