Back from vacation...not too much on TV

We, I am back from vacation today. Happy about it, I certainly am. So much to talk about the first day back: OSU football vacates wins, Vrabel returns to coach, Women's World Cup, and of course, the Reds. But one thing I noticed, not that I didnt know this before, but there is nothing on TV this time of year. This is the lull time in sports. You know its rough when the Nathan's Famous is in the top 10.
The Women's World Cup was great! Wimbledon, was ho hum. While the Reds leave me a little bored. This is the time of year we long for the return of football...and it isnt far off. NFL is getting things solved by the day, and college will always be there. This will be a great year for football, I have no concerns. But we need something on TV in the meantime.
Im not sure what it will be, if anything...but sports on TV right now is bad. Enjoy the weather. Play sports instead of watching them, because unless you want your next installment of Reds/Astros or Reds/Pirates, its gonna be a little bit beofre we get much else. At least Francisco Cordero keeps things lively.
