Roush Fenway get’s a big win at the “Price Chopper 400” at Kansas Speedway this weekend as the #16 Ford Fusion of Greg Biffle takes the checkered flag. This is Greg’s second win of the season (his first was at Pocono in August). This moved Greg up to 8th in the points for the Race to the Sprint Cup
It wasn’t a bad day for the defending Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson as he wheeled his #48 Lowes Chevy to a second place finish moving him into first place in the standings. Denny Hamlin is just 8 points behind the leader in second place and Kevin Harvick is in third just 30 points behind J.J
The biggest mover this week in the Race for the Sprint Cup was Jeff Gordon, who jumps 3 positions to 5th place. Kyle Busch driver of the #18 dropped 4 positions in the standings after an altercation with David Reutimann driver of the #00…apparently there were magnets attached to both cars and they kept hitting each other
Joey Lagano takes the pole in Saturdays Nationwide Series race only to turn it in to another win, thank to Brad Keselowski giving him a little push. Joey took the lead when he ran his team mate Kyle Busch up the track for the pass at lap 194. I’m guessing they will not share Thanksgiving dinner together this year. Way to go Joey!!!
Next up…Sun, Fun, movie Stars and the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. Can Jimmie Johnson stretch his lead, will Denny Hamlin pass him in the points, will Jeff Gordon get his first win of the 2010 season and will Eric the Great Ever like this race track?
Tune in Wednesday Night for The WING Racing Show at for all your racing coverage.
