Geez Coach Cal, let other people get some recruits

The University of Kentucky's basketball recruiting reminds me of something Kiefer Sutherland told Emilio Estevez, playing Billy the Kid, in the movie Young Guns..."We are good Billy, but this is getting ridiculous!" What's ridiculous is Coach Calipari on the the recruiting trail. The 5 stars have flocked to Lexington since he arrived, and they are still coming by the bus load.
Just a few days ago, Coach Cal landed his 5th 5-star recruit of the 2013 class, a 6'10" Center named Dakari Johnson. He will add more talent and size to what will be an already loaded front court. By adding Johnson, Calipari has now secured the #4, #5, #10, #13, and #18 players in the 2013 class, with possibly more to come. We all know he can do this, but year after year?
I have always said, Calipari will reach his greatest success, when he can put players from 2 classes together...like last season. As great as Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilcrest were for that team, they don't win with out Sophomores Terrance Jones and Doran Lamb. That group brought another title back to the Bluegrass, but it was just Calipari's first. He wants more, and has the talent to get more.
While this group struggles through 2012-2013, another banner will probably not go to the Rupp rafters. But if a couple guys, like Willie Cauley-Stein or Alex Poythress, decide to return, you might as well fit UK for rings now...March will be a formality
