Gotta like the Reds chances

The Cincinnati Reds hold a 2-0 lead in their best of 5 with the NL West Champion San Francisco Giants. They have looked strong both nights, despite any problems. The Jonny Cueto thing on Saturday, is a concern. The fact he isn't going Tuesday can be seen either way. They are in control of things, they don't need him...or, he isn't fully healthy to pitch, don't use him. We will find out the reality once Cueto goes to the mound.
They offense showed up on Sunday, showing everything on offense. This team is a capable offensive unit, just can't seem to do it consistently enough. If it begins to click now, with pitching that seems to be as consistent as any in baseball, a World Series might be in this teams' future.
They have everything you need to do it. Thy only really lack one more quality bat, to throw into the middle of that lineup. But, sometimes that comes from an unlikely source...maybe it will again. If Jay Bruce decides he wants to hit, he can carry you a long way. Someone just step up for a few weeks, this team could honestly win a World Series.
Something very important is to remain consistant in what got you here; pitching and defense. If you don't win, make sure it''s not because you couldn't do what you do best. It's what got them here, and it might just be what brings home their 1st World Championship since 1990, another team that did it with, yep, pitching and defense.
