Latos gets 1st win with Reds

I talked about it a lot on Dayton Sports Scene and the Reds Warm up....Mat Latos confirmed it after his win Tuesday over the SF Giants at GABP. Latos was under control, and had his good stuff. Latos mentioned how the pressure of coming to Cincinnati had weighed on him, and that it was on his mind on the mound. But, as the zeros on the scoreboard grew, so did the young right-handers confidence.
This was a huge game for him and the Cincinnati Reds. This club will only go as far as the pitching goes, and Latos is a huge component in that engine. If this win, against one of the best pitchers in baseball mind you, is what it took to get him on track to a strong season, then mark April 24th on your calander as the day this TEAM got on track.
