Marcos Ambrose wins at Watkins Glen: #9 Marcos Ambrose won the “Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen” Sprint Cup Series race at Watkins Glen International on Monday after the race was postponed Sunday because of rain. It is his 1st career win and he becomes the 5th first time winner of 2011 and the 15th different winner for the year.
#2 Brad Keselowski finished 2nd followed by #18 Kyle Busch, #56 Martin Truex, Jr., #20 Joey Logano, #29 Kevin Harvick, #42 Juan Montoya, #43 A.J. Allmendinger, #31 Jeff Burton, and #48 Jimmie Johnson.
The race ended under caution after a wreck on the last lap between #6 David Ragan and #00 David Reutimann that caused Reutimann's car to flip.
#99 Carl Edwards finished 13th and lost the points lead to #18 Kyle Busch. The two drivers are now tied with 752 points.
There were 14 lead changes among 9 drivers and 5 cautions for 13 yellow flag laps.

He took the lead with 5 laps to go when #18 Kyle Busch had to pit and then held off #7 Jimmie Johnson on a green-white checker finish. It is Kurt Busch's 3rd career Nationwide series win and his first since Watkins Glen in 2006. #7 Jimmie Johnson finished second, followed by #20 Joey Logano, #18 Kyle Busch, #60 Carl Edwards, #33 Paul Menard, #5 Ron Fellows, #88 Aric Almirola, #16 Trevor Bayne, and #2 Elliott Sadler. There were 2 cautions for 5 laps and 6 lead changes among 2 leaders.
