Reflections on NFL 2010

Another NFL season has come and gone, and it seemed to go so fast. Twenty weeks of baseball seems like 40 weeks to me...football season goes by in a blink of an eye. We all give our preseason predictions every year, good and bad. I went back and looked at my predictions from 2010...
In the AFC, I did alright, picking just 3 of the 6 playoff teams. One good pick I made, I had KC as my AFC sleeper, finishing 2nd in the West. A bad pick, The Dolphins to get the Wildcard while New England misses the playoffs. Thats what I get for putting stock in Chad Henne and the fish. I also believed in Cincinnati, which no one will do in 2011. Watch out for Cincy though, they have talent to be that AFC sleeper next season.
The NFC went somewhat the same, as I picked 3 of the 6 playoff teams right. I did have Green Bay winning the division, but had faith in Favre and the boys to make the playoffs. One good pick, I guess Green Bay. Bad picks by me...pick one. I had the Bears in last place...that will be next season. I also went with my heart and had the Cowboys winning the East. That wont stop me from picking them again next year, and the year after that probably.
All and all, a great NFL season. Great games, and great teams. It also supported why we all love the NFL...parity. The Rams go from worst to division winners. The Chiefs go from the top of the draft, to a team on the rise. Even those Browns made progress. This labor deal will get solved, even if they temporarily reinstate the old CBA. There will be regular season football in September, I promise. And if there isnt, well Roger Goddell can take the pay cut, no me.
