Sweet 16 has 4 Ohio teams

We are up to the Sweet 16 in the 2012 NCAA Tournament and 4 of the remaining schools are from the state of Ohio. Cincinnati, Xavier, Ohio U, and Ohio State all made their way through the 1st 3 rounds of the tournament, now hope to work their through the rest. It is the first time four schools from the same state have made the Sweet 16.
Is there any reason we can put to it? Is it because kids play basketball here due the weather moving us indoors for a few months a year? Ohio is a talented basketball state...look at all 4 rosters...lots of Ohio kids making big contribuations. Last year's Ohio State team featured an entire starting 5 from Ohio, and was the #1 overall seed. Ohio is more than just a football state.
