The Heat IS on

The villians...the team we love to hate. Whatever you want to call them, they are the Miami Heat...and they are on the verge of a World Championship. We may hate them, but they did what you have to do to win in this league. You have to get good players together somehow, and the Heat did it as well as anyone.
The offseason was the future of the NBA. Many of its greatest starts were free agents, and the shape of the league was in the hands of those players. While many, like Dirk Nowitzki and Joe Johnson, stayed with their current teams, LeBron James and Chris Bosh, among others, didnt. They were hated for the decisions they made, but they will win championships.
Jordan needed Scottie and Dennis. Duncan needed Robinson, Parker, and Ginobili. And of course, Bill Russell had Bob Cousy, Sam Jones, and a who's who of Basketball Hall of Famers. Its a team sport, and the sooner you can put a team together, you can win. Put a great team together, and you can win many, many titles...ask Miami in 5 years.
