I dont know what it is about the NFL Draft? I have watched it for nearly 25 years, and wouldnt miss it for anything. It's great TV! It's your team's future being played out right in front of you.
I think most of why I enjoy it so much is due to my passion for college football. If I could only watch one level, of one sport, for the rest of my life, it would be college football. Nothing beats the bands, the student sections, the fight songs, and the classic Saturday afternoons. For my entertainment, college football saturdays take the cake.
This is a unique drft in many ways. The concensus #1 pick, Andrew Luck, goes back to school...leave about 5-6 possible #1 picks. The fact that 5-6 guys could go #1 is unique in itself. A lot of talent in this draft, but no one that is that "must take".
You can get a pass rusher, or a nice receiver...but it's the success, or lack there of, of the Quarterbacks that will determine this quality of this class. If Cam Newton, Blaine Gabbert, or Ryan Mallett become great, this class could be considered great too. With the great pass rushers, this is the worst draft for the veteran QBs around the league...but will it be the worst QB draft in years too...only time will tell.
