The Chase for the 2010 Sprint Cup is under way and the drivers are not only battling on the track, but in the garages too. Kevin Harvick and Denny Hamlin pass words at Dover this passed weekend and Jimmie Johnson takes the checkered flag with his first win in the 2010 Chase. The Monster Mile of Dover turned out to be another great race in the Chase. Jeff Burton held on for a strong second place finish. The day was not so kind to Chase driver Clint Bowyer who finished 25th and Tony Stewart 21st.
Kyle Busch makes history in the Nationwide Series with his 11th win in a single season breaking Sam Ard’s record. Kyle has 196 starts in the Nationwide Series with 41 victories.
Austin Dillon dominates Las Vegas truck race in style. This is his second victory in the Camping World Truck Series; his first win was at Iowa Speedway in July. This win has moved Austin up in the truck standings to 4th place. Todd Bodine holds a firm grip on first place for the run for the truck title.
This season has brought us much excitement and I believe the Chase will come down to Homestead Miami to determine who will be crowned 2010 Champion of the Sprint Cup Series.
