The UD Flyers...is a win a win?

Im guilty of this...I know I am. I look at a close Dayton Flyers' win, over an opponent i deem inferior , as something to complain about. Should I? Should we? Many of you say the same things on the show. Im torn over my reaction to last night's 2 point win over Central Connecticut State, at home. Should we just be happy they won, or want a better performance?
In the NFL, we see a win, whether by 1 point or 51 points as just that, a win. Win at all costs...no style points. But we dont have that same reaction to, say, the UD Flyers. I look at last night as a problem, not a victory. I see it as something to work on, not something to celebrate...but should I?
When I complain about the Flyers performance, it is in reference to one thing...how well can this team play in the tournament? So when I complain about a victory, it's because that two point win last night against C. Conn St, doesnt happen if a better team is in town. That performance is an A-10 loss waiting to happen. Am I happy they won, of course.
But im becoming torn on how to see this team. Do I just accept that no NCAA Championship banner will ever hang from UD Arena, and enjoy the wins as they come...knowing they wont be great every night? I dont think so. I see a talented team that doesnt play to its potential enough nights. This team will win plenty of regular season games, but unless something is done to maximize the talents they bring, we will all be disappointed again come March...because I want NCAAs, not NITs.
