#7 New England Patriots: Talk about another franchise that got off to a slow start to the Super Bowl era, but they have made up for it since. Most people don't realize, this franchise has been to the 2nd most Super Bowls, 7, trailing only the Cowboys and the Steelers and their 8 trips. After an embarrassing Super Bowl XX loss to the 1985 Bears, the success started to roll in...slowly. Another loss to Brett Favre and the Packers, opened the door to 3 Championships in 4 years...the glory years of the Patriots. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have become the QB/Head Coach gold standard in the NFL, and the model for winning football games. Only Eli Manning and the New York Giants have stood between them and unprecedented success. Just 3 former Patriots are in Canton, but many more will follow in the near future.
3 Super Bowls in 7 trips...18 playoff seasons...370-331-3 overall
