TOO MANY NON PITCHERS PITCHING ??

once again today a non pitcher took the mound… this time it was Phillip Ervin of your Reds… yes the game was a blowout but this seems to be happening more and more across Baseball… and I’m not sure it’s helping the game…

Of course you want to save your bullpen but at the risk of a player hurting his arm? Plus is it fair to the paying fans to watch an infielder take the mound? Trouble is there isn’t really an answer… add a pitcher the same thing will still happen so I guess the answer is simple…

Don’t get blown out !!!
