Wright State freshman guard Malachi Smith announces he will transfer

Wright State freshman guard Malachi Smith announced on twitter that he has asked for his release and that he will re-open up his recruitment.

Smith, a 6-3 freshman averaged 5.3 points and 2.7 rebounds overall but 6.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in Horizon League play.  He was also named to the Horizon League all-freshman team as well.
