Wright State’s Coach Nagy talks No. 1 Seed, NIT, Motor City Madness & more w/Justin Kinner

Wright State head basketball coach Scott Nagy joined Justin Kinner on the Kinner & Schlemmer show to preview the Raiders quarterfinal match-up with IUPUI at the Nutter Center Tuesday night.

WSU clinched a share of the Horizon League title over the weekend with their win over Milwaukee in the regular season finale at Milwaukee. The win also solidified the No. 1 seed for the Raiders and guaranteed them an NIT post season birth if they fail to win the conference tournament.

What’s Inside?

  • Pressure of closing out the regular season as regular season champs
  • Did the team discuss the accomplishment of qualifying for the NIT or will they wait to talk about that later on?
  • New conference tournament format – Is coach Nagy a fan of the format and the days off between games?
